Linda Dalgetty creates her life balance through a focus on family, work, and service. Her life-long commitment to giving back and her passion for helping others began at a young age and are what ultimately led her to STARS.

Linda is a seasoned financial professional with more than 30 years of North American and international financial and business leadership experience in the public and private sectors. Prior to joining STARS, Linda served as the Vice President, Finance and Services at the University of Calgary where she was responsible for an extensive portfolio including Finance, Information Technologies, Human Resources and Facilities. Over the course of her career, Linda has held a number of leadership roles including Vice President Finance and Chief Information Officer at Agrium and General Manager of an Argentinean agricultural company. A highly skilled finance professional that cares tremendously about community, Linda feels grateful to have the opportunity to contribute to STARS and its life-saving mission.

Linda holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School Business and is a Fellow of the Chartered Accountants of Alberta. Linda currently serves as a director on two external Boards. She is also a volunteer mentor, working with undergraduate students and early-stage professionals and an active community volunteer with organizations with local and international reach.

When she is not leading the STARS Finance team, Linda enjoys spending time with her four children and four grandchildren.
