Jackie moved into a career in Human Resources largely because she finds people so inherently interesting, and nowhere is that more true than at STARS. This organization has fascinating people from so many different industries and backgrounds, and she has shared that it is a privilege to get to work with each one. Jackie has more than 20 years of experience in different for-profit organizations in Calgary, working in recruiting, talent management and HR business partnering. She also enjoyed two expatriate opportunities working for the Oil and Gas industry in Houston and Norway. Jackie joined STARS in 2016 and is incredibly grateful to be working with such an amazing team of professionals that she has the pleasure of working with every day.

Jackie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Calgary, and a MBA with a Human Resources concentration from the Haskayne School of Business. She currently serves as a director on a non-profit board, and is also a volunteer on Mount Royal University’s HR Partnership Council. In her free time, Jackie loves to go to movies, concerts and college basketball games.
