Today, STARS welcomed Manitoba Health Minister Uzoma Asagwara and MLA David Pankratz to the STARS Winnipeg base to announce a new 10-year funding agreement with the Manitoba government.

“We are deeply grateful to the Government of Manitoba for their steadfast commitment to the health and safety of Manitobans. Since our first mission here, STARS has proudly served the province. This 10-year funding agreement is a powerful endorsement of the lifesaving work we provide, together with our partners on the ground. It ensures we can continue to deliver critical care when and where it’s needed most—bringing hope and help to those facing the most serious emergencies. On behalf of our entire team, thank you for standing with us in our mission to providing critical care, anywhere.” said STARS President & CEO Dr. John Froh.

This funding provides stability for our operations in Manitoba and will enable STARS to continue to provide critical care, anywhere to those who need it all across the province, for years to come.

We look forward to continuing our partnership with the Government of Manitoba and are incredibly grateful for their support.
