Critical Care on the Air

A member of STARS' operations team takes a phone call donation at a desk during a recent Critical Care on the Air Radiothon for STARS event.

Critical Care on the AIr

For 12 hours a day, over two days, STARS broadcasts on more than 50 radio stations across Western Canada to raise funds in support of our mission to provide critical care, anywhere.

Listeners hear first-hand from STARS crew members, community allies and Very Important Patients (VIPs) as they share their inspiring stories of survival and bravery, giving Western Canadians a glimpse into STARS’ life-saving impact.

Our community continues to make Critical Care on the Air a success. To date, the radiothon has raised more than $3 million for STARS!

The on-location spot was at a mall in Saskatchewan. The three people sit and stand behind a STARS table with a STARS donation sign to the left of the image.
