Field of STARS fundraiser returns to support critical care, anywhere

Saskatoon, July 15, 2024 – This summer, STARS is once again bringing the agricultural community together in support of the critical care they have relied upon for nearly 40 years with the seventh annual Field of STARS presented by Nutrien.
Field of STARS takes place at Prairieland Park on July 16 and will feature a BBQ dinner, dancing, live and silent auctions, and a live performance from Juno and CCMA award winning band, The Washboard Union. All proceeds raised throughout the evening will go directly to supporting STARS’ critical care operations in Saskatchewan.
“Nearly 40 years ago, when the agricultural community first heard about the efforts STARS was making to save lives in rural communities, we gained one of our strongest and most steadfast allies,” said Katherine Emberly, President and CEO of STARS. “This decades long partnerships has helped save thousands of lives, and we could not be more grateful. By bringing industry and community leaders together during this celebration, we help ensure STARS continues to be the best hope in a worst-case scenario.”
Last year, Field of STARS raised over $530,000 towards critical care operations in the province, and since its inception in 2018, the event has raised nearly $3 million helping fund STARS’ operations in Saskatchewan.
The full Field of STARS campaign runs from July 16-18, 2024 at the Ag-in-Motion Beer Garden in Saskatoon, where community members can learn more about STARS and enjoy a refreshing beverage. To learn more about how you can participate in the campaign visit www.fieldofstarsevent.ca
