Ensuring Mission-Ready Aircraft

At STARS, our Engineering team plays a critical role in maintaining the safety and reliability of our helicopter emergency medical service operations. As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), you’ll be integral to keeping our fleet mission-ready and safe, ensuring that our crews can deliver life-saving care when it’s needed most.

What It Means to Be an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at STARS

Our engineers ensure that each helicopter is in optimal condition, adhering to the highest safety standards. The engineering team inspects, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains critical helicopter components—including engines, avionics, and mechanical systems—while following strict safety regulations.

Their meticulous attention to detail directly impacts our ability to provide critical care across Western Canada.

  • Medical Crew – Ensure that medical equipment onboard is properly installed, ensuring readiness for patient care.
  • Logistics and Supply Chain – Coordinate to manage parts inventory and ensure the availability of necessary components for maintenance activities.
