CALGARY, Jan. 9, 2026 – STARS LOTTERY Alberta is back for its 33rd year. From now until March 20, 2026, Albertans can purchase a STARS LOTTERY Alberta ticket for a chance to win thousands of prizes—including one of three grand prize dream homes—and be a part of STARS mission to provide critical care, anywhere.

“STARS has never waivered from our commitment to provide advanced critical care to those who need it most,” said Dr. John Froh, President and CEO of STARS. “When you buy a STARS LOTTERY ticket, you help us uphold that commitment. Every ticket directly supports the STARS mission operations and our air medical crew, who work tirelessly to save the next patient in need. Your support propels our innovation and ensures we can deliver leading edge care for generations to come.”

Your ticket isn’t just a chance to win life-changing prizes—it’s a way to help save lives. With 1,540 missions flown across Alberta last year alone, lottery ticket sales are vital to supporting patients in life-threatening circumstances.

This year’s exciting lineup includes over 2,000 prizes, valued at $4.5 million.

Prizes include three grand prize dream homes in Calgary, Edmonton, and Lethbridge, vehicles, vacations, a luxury pickup truck and utility vehicle Bonus prize package valued at more than $168,000, and an Early Bird prize of $250,000 cash to bring your dreams to life! The ever-popular Lucky STARS 50/50 could see one lucky winner take home up to $4 million. Plus, the Million STARS Daily Cash is back—with 40 daily draws of $25,000 each—totalling $1 million in cash. And new this year is STARS Instant Win. Every STARS LOTTERY ticket is eligible to reveal a prize of up to $10,000. A full list of prizes can be found at ab.starslottery.ca

Tickets can be purchased online at starslottery.ca, by phone at 1-855-STARS-68 (782-7768), at STARS bases in Grande Prairie, Edmonton and Calgary, or at each of the grand prize dream homes. With STARS LOTTERY tickets starting as low as $40—and only $20 for Lucky STARS 50/50 and Million STARS Daily Cash—the lottery that brings hope when it’s needed most remains one of the most accessible and affordable major charitable lotteries in the province.

All dream homes are open for viewing from Jan. 10 to March 15, 2026; Saturday, Sunday, and holidays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
